Preventative Care
The best way to make sure your mouth stays healthy is preventative care. Simple daily habits to prevent (or repair) disease can make an incredible difference in your health. Although most people know how to brush their teeth and floss, we surprise patients every day when they discover that they can make slight changes that often noticeably improves the health of their gums by the time their next exam comes around.
Our hygienists, Sandy & Gina have been with Strevey Dental for many years. They are highly regarded by our patients for their wonderful, friendly personalities and making sure every patient knows they are important and cared for. Their skills and passion for helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy mouth shows that they love what they do, and that’s why we are so thankful to have them part of our team. Dentistry for the whole family
Our patients range from age 2-92. We love seeing the whole family… even generations of families! Dr. Strevey has been a dentist since 1987 and has seen little ones grow into adults and bring in their own family. We cherish these relationships. We love to educate kids on how to properly care for their teeth and gums in a positive environment so they get excited about dental care from the start.
Some pediatric dental offices encourage the parents to refrain from going back into the room with their child during their visit, but we believe that the child should feel safe and comfortable at all times. Parents are encouraged to do what they feel is best for them and their family. Develop a relationship with the child.
Enhancing Your Smile (Restorative & Cosmetic)
Often times we are asked how someone can get their smile ‘enhanced’, or ‘re-done’, or ‘beautiful’, or ‘restored’. Many cosmetic dentists are only concerned with making the front teeth straight and very white, but if they have not taken into account having a balanced bite with the jaw joints and muscles, the work may fail in a relatively short amount of time. When all the systems of the mouth are taken into consideration the mouth can be positioned for beauty, function and health for a lifetime.
At Strevey Dental, our team has had extensive training to help diagnose the problems and perform procedures so you can have the long-term, beautiful smile you have always wanted. We believe that quality endures, so you can keep your teeth for your lifetime.
Sleep Apnea
It is estimated that around 50% of people suffer from some form of Sleep Apnea. When left untreated, this can lead to very serious health issues and sometimes even death. We will help you determine whether or not you have sleep apnea and the severity of it. We’ve been able to help many sleep apnea sufferers avoid the bulky, noisy and uncomfortable CPAP machine that is often prescribed for people with all levels of sleep apnea.
Fortunately we have a wonderful solution that is not obtrusive to your sleep and is a simple appliance that you wear in your mouth at night, similar to a mouth guard. Our patients are seeing great results. Read more about our sleep apnea solution »
